Who, What & Why?

Canterbury is a safe place for you to experience God and to make new friends. Whether you were born in the church, or only recently have begun to search for a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ, all are welcome.  We experience God in worship, in our times of fun and friendship, as we explore the big questions, and in sharing good news with others.

At Canterbury Campus Ministry, we are not concerned about religion - we are about helping each other to develop a living faith and a personal relationship with the one who is the way, truth and life.

Throughout the year, there are many opportunities to get involved with Canterbury. Most of our ministry offerings take place during the academic school year.  For a complete list of programs and gatherings, please check out our Connections Page.

The Rev. Patricia Russell

CHAPLAINCY AT CANTERBURY CAMPUS MINISTRY

Canterbury Campus Ministry at Texas Tech has recently called the Rev. Patricia Russell of Lubbock as our new chaplain.

Mtr. Pat served in an interim capacity this spring, meeting with students for Wednesday evening Dinner and a Movie at our Canterbury home, Seaman Hall. She brings a warm, loving quality to the position, and looks forward to greeting the students as they return
for the Fall 2010 semester.

Please come by to meet Mtr. Pat and tour our campus home!

Our Ministry Team includes our Chaplain, the Canterbury Executive Committee and the Canterbury Board of Trustees.

Canterbury Campus Ministry is an outreach of the Episcopal Diocese of Northwest Texas.  We are grateful for the leadership and support of Bishop Scott Mayer and the parishes and members of this diocese.  If you would like to learn more about how you can be a part of this ministry, please visit the connections page or contact the Chaplain.
